Ester

Vermentino di Sardegna D.O.C.

Ester is the product of the selection of the best Vermentino grapes of our vineyards, which are located in the most suitable hills of the Medio Campidano.

The average age of the vines is 30 years, with a planting density of around 7.000 vines per hectare.

To maintain good quality grapes, the bunches are selected before veraison and the harvest takes place in the first ten days of September, once perfect ripeness has been reached.

This is followed by fermentation in steel at low temperatures for 15 days and aging for 8 months in steel with elevage on the noble lees.

Colour: Deep straw yellow with greenish reflections.

Smell: Hints of tropical and white-fleshed fruit, with a hint of the Mediterranean scrub.

Taste: Full and lively, with a marked minerality. On the palate we find all the aromas perceived with the sense of smell. The finish is fresh and persistent.

Pairing: Elegant as an aperitif, excellent with seafood and shellfish, but goes well with all fish dishes of the Mediterranean tradition.
